I found this and she loves the look of it. It comes with a kit to adjust the size. The clasp is tight, so my mother can't take this off herself, but since I don't want her to, that is a plus for me. The letters are on the small side, so if someone doesn't know to look for it, they could miss it. I have worn a medical alert ID for countless years and have had many different types. I have encounter ones that have had information wear off of them, scratch easily, have broken links, etc. So, I tend to look for stronger bands nowadays. This band caught my eye because it resembles an adjustable watch strap in construction.The band is of quality metal which hasn't scratched up yet (I tend to work bracelets very hard) and has kept its shine and finish. The wording is embossed (Not very deeply though) on a fairly solid bit of metal.My only (Minor) issues with it are that the clasp, while quite strong has a habit of occasionally catching things and can come undone. Because the claps is smaller that the other links it sticks out when the bracelet links move too much. This maybe because I can't have the bracelet too tight and I need some small amount of slack in it (Not much but enough that the links can move freely). The other minor gripe is to do with the wasy the links are fixed together, they use split pins which is a great idea and works well. The issue comes from the tool provided to push the pins out so you can remove links. It works like a little vice/Pin punch but the in that pushes the split pins out of the links on the bracelet is very, very thin and doesn't always line up with the pins very well. My wife spent ages looking through the many versions of this on amazon and eventually decided this one best filled her needs. It looks and feels substantial and the wording is clear on it.She has worn it full time now for several months and it still looks as good as when she first put it on, she has even had several compliments about it during this time. She is glad she didn't go for a precious metal (Silver or silver coloured gold) because to have got such a heavy piece would have cost far more and could not have performed the job this does any better.
